Mr. A. ASHOK, Principal, SREE NARAYANA NURSING COLLEGE, Welcomed the Special Invitees.
Prof. INDIRA. S, Principal, NARAYANA COLLEGE OF NURSING, has delivered the annual report of this
academic Year.
Dr. T. VENUGOPAL RAO, Registrar, NTR University of Health Sciences, Chief guest, expressed in his special message, that the Nursing students of Narayana College of Nursing are bagging the University ranks of the academic year 2006-07.

Dr. REDDAMMA, H.O.D, Psychiatric Nursing, NIMHANS, enlighted the success of meritorious students and she insisted the responsibilities of Colleges of Nursing in providing quality education and she delivered the revised Nightingale pledge.
Mr. SRINIVASAN, Vice Principal, thanked Invitees, parents and the new graduates. The programme concluded with national anthem. |

Srinivasan, Vice Principal, Narayana College of Nursing, Mr. Ashok, Principal, Sree Narayana Nursing College, Mr. Selvibabu, PET, Narayana Nursing Institutions, Mr. Sriramulu, Sports Incharge, Narayana Nursing Institutions and by the all sports committee leaders from all the batches, Inaugurated by Dr. Tamil Selvam |
HOD, Department of Psychology.Indoor games like Carroms, Chess, Musical ball etc, Outdoor games like. Kho Kho, Khabadi, Bottle filling, Bun Biting, Needle & Tread,
| Hearon & Spoon, Throw ball, Shuttle, Tennicoit, Shot put, Jevelin Throw, Discur Throw, Running Race etc. On 10.3.2008, students are actively participated, Mrs. Samatha Jyothi, vice-principal, Sree Narayana Nursing College, Mrs. Malar vizhi, SNA Advisor, Narayana Nursing Institutions. Conducted food carnival and film festival, Finally prizes are distributed for prize winners. |

World Health Day Celebration

Narayana Nursing Institutions celebrated World Health Day on 7th April, 2008, in venkatachalam rural area-primary School, Mr. G. Srinivasan, Vice Principal, Narayana College of Nursing Conducted “World Health Day” .The final year B.Sc. (N) students are actively conducted participated, Sports competition, Essay writing competition and drawing competition are conducted for school children. They also participated in Dramas, Role play, Puppet show and Folk |
songs related to World Health Day Theme “Protecting health from climate change”. Finally the session was ended after Mr. G. Srinivasan Vice Principal; Narayana College of Nursing was addressed the gatherings. Mr. Joshua Head master was the guest of honor. Mrs. Vanaja kumari, Lecturer and Mr. Prasad, Teacher had given their addresses towards World Health Day; prizes are distributed to the winners. The programme ended with National Anthem.
International Nurses Day
Narayana Nursing Institutions had Celebrated International Nurses day from 12th May, 2008 to 17th May, 2008 in Narayana Medical College General and Super Specialty Hospitals.
Female Surgical ward is selected as best ward. Ward in charge Ms. Suhasini and team received the Certificates and rolling cup.
World no Tobacco Day
Narayana Nursing Institutions had celebrated World No Tobacco day on 31st May, 2008 by creating awareness by procession.
Academic achievements:
Narayana College of Nursing - Our B.Sc Nursing I, II, III & IV year students have achieved 100% results in Dr. N.T.R UHS Examinations held on 2006 – 2007.
Narayana School of Nursing : Our G.N.M. I, II & III year students have achieved 100% results in Board of Examinations for General Nursing & Midwifery held on August 2007.
New Course offered:
Narayana College of Nursing got Indian Nursing Council approval to start M.Sc Nursing programme for the academic year 2008-2009.
Planning to start Super Specialty courses, in Nursing in Academic 2008-2009.

On August 15th 2007 Independence Day was celebrated in Narayana Nursing Institutions and cultural programmes conducted. |

Lamp lighting:
Lamp lighting programme for Fresh B.Sc (N) & G.N.M students was conducted on December 1st 2007 Chief Guest Dr. J.N. Rao M.D(HA) Medical Superintendent Narayana Medical College Hospital, Nellore. |
Continuing Nursing Education programme was conducted for the staff nurses in month of 25th September 2007.
Research Meeting conducting every Thursday in Narayana Nursing Institutions.
Narayana Nakshatra Teja’s Galaxy – 200:
On February 19th 2008, College Day was celebrated in Narayana Nursing Institutions and cultural programmes are conducted. Best out going students are awarded. |

Continuing Nursing Education Programme:
To enhance the quality of teaching and to keep the staff abreast with the recent trends in the Health Care System the Institute has been sponsoring staff for Workshop and Seminars.

The National Nurses conference was successfully hosted by Narayana College of Nursing on 26th and 27th January 2008. Theme of the conference was “ Nurse clinician independent practioner in India” It was inaugurated by Smt. Nedurumalli Rajyalakshmi ( Minister for women Department and child welfare, Disabled welfare and Juvenile welfare, Govt. of A.P) and Mr. Aravind B. Kulkarni President, TNAI, New Delhi was released the Souvenir. The theme of the Conference was unfolded by Mrs. Indira. S Principal Narayana college of Nursing and Highlighted the theme. This programme was co- ordinated by Mr.Srinivasan M.Sc (N), Vice principal, Narayana College of Nursing. Mr. A.Ashok and team had a Seminar on Legal Issues. Panel discussion and scientific sessions were conducted by the resource persons from various states. 100%of participants suggested that the conference was a step toward professionalism. |
